We are thrilled to announce that Ireland's iconic music festival Other Voices will return to Cardigan, Ceredigion this autumn, taking place from 26-28 October 2023.

Over the three days Other Voices Cardigan will showcase another incredible line-up of musical and cultural events in intimate venues and atmospheric spaces throughout the town, hosted by Huw Stephens and presented in partnership with Mwldan and Triongl.

Headline acts will perform at St Mary’s Church*. These performances will be simultaneously broadcast live to the cinema screen in Mwldan and live-streamed worldwide on the night online via Other Voices’ YouTube and other socials.

In addition to the St Mary’s Church sessions, we will be bringing the Music Trail to multiple venues around the town, and the Clebran sessions will again take place at Mwldan across the three days, sparking inspiring conversations and lively debate with leading thinkers across the arts, politics and journalism.

Clebran: 

This year’s Clebran features a collection of incredible speakers, including Author and broadcaster Jon Gower, harpist Cerys Hafana, Associate Professor of Early Modern History John Gallagher; writer, composer and performer Daf James; writer-director Tracy Spottiswoode; writer, podcaster and journalist Damian Kerlin; journalist and author Richard Fisher, Senior Lecturer in Applied Psychology Dr Sharon Lambert, Wholescape Programme Manager Jessica McQuade and historian, writer and reviewer Christopher Kissane, along with CN Smith, Deirdre de Bhailís, General Manager of Dingle Hub; Hanan Issa - National Poet of Wales; Rt Hon Mark Drakeford MS, First Minister of Wales; Sophie Mackintosh; and Wayne Howard.

Your wristband will get you into the Music Trail and Clebran sessions and costs just £35. Wristbands for under 18’s are free* but must be booked directly with the box office.

Purchasing a wristband will also automatically enter you into the draw to win a pair of tickets to see headline acts in the Church sessions (*tickets can only be won, not be purchased, for the Church sessions). Your booking confirmation can be exchanged for your wristband at the Other Voices Cardigan festival hub which will open at Mwldan the week of the festival. More information about the programme and event access will be sent out in the coming months ahead of the event.
